Account Deletion Policy

Delivery Star — How we handle account deletion for all user types

Users can permanently delete their account from within the Delivery Star app at any time. Upon deletion, all personally identifiable information (PII) is scrubbed from our systems. Order history is retained for accounting and GST compliance purposes only, with all personal details anonymised.

Consumer (Customer App)

Delivery Star – Customer Android App

Navigate to Account tab Open the app → tap the Account icon in the bottom navigation bar.

Tap "Delete My Account" Scroll to the bottom of the Account screen and tap the red "Delete My Account" button.

Confirm deletion A confirmation dialog will appear. Tap DELETE to permanently delete your account.

Account deleted Your account is immediately anonymised and you are signed out of the app.

Data Handling

Name & Email — scrubbed Phone number — scrubbed Saved addresses — deleted Cart items — deleted Auth tokens — revoked FCM device tokens — deleted Order history — kept (anonymised, GST)

Navigate to Profile screen Open the app → tap the Profile icon in the bottom navigation bar.

Tap "Delete My Account" Scroll to the bottom of the Profile screen and tap the red "Delete My Account" button.

Confirm deletion A confirmation dialog will appear. Tap DELETE to permanently delete your account.

Account deleted Your account is anonymised and you are redirected to the login screen.

Name & Email — scrubbed Phone number — scrubbed Auth tokens — revoked FCM device tokens — deleted Restaurant & order records — kept (anonymised, GST)

Name & Email — scrubbed Phone number — scrubbed OTP & FCM token — cleared Delivery order history — kept (anonymised, accounting)

⏱ Effective deletion timeline Account PII is anonymised immediately upon request. Anonymised order records (without any personally identifiable information) are retained for up to 7 years as required by Indian GST regulations.
